this plugin is freeware

//////////
Understanding the file-name:

"VendorName - PluginName - (PluginVersion).mXX.f64.vst.dll"

Vendor-name (JELSTUDIO)
Plugin-name (GonioMetron)
Plugin-version date (YYYYMMDD)
mXX = m32 for 32-bit version, m64 for 64-bit version
f64 = internal audio-calculations are done with 64bit precision
vst = this .dll file is a VST2 plugin
.dll = file extension

//////////
How to use:

Load the plugin in a VST-host.

///
There are 3 user-controls (All are controlled by left-clicking with your mouse):

/
Left button "AUTO" (yellow color) = ON/OFF button for the automation-system.
It will auto-adjust the stereo-width (A side-channel MUST be present in the audio for this to work. MONO-audio will remain MONO)

/
Mid button "TIME" (cyan color) = How fast automatic adjustment will happen.
Default is medium-speed, which is when the button is a dark cyan-color. In this setting the display (AND the auto-width system if it is ON) will work at medium-velocity.

SLOW speed is when left-half of the button is bright-cyan color.

FAST speed is when the full button is bright-cyan color.

/
Right button "SIDE" (cyan color) = How wide the stereo-information should be.
Default is mid-width, which is when the button is a dark cyan-color. In this setting the display (AND the auto-width system if it is ON) will work at medium side-channel width.

When the auto-system is ON; then narrow width, "NARO", will make the side-channel less powerful.

When the auto-system is OFF; then narrow width, "NARO", will make the side-channel display-information bigger than normal (So you can use it as a visual guide if adjusting stereo-width manually. This way, to obtain a narrow width, you should make the dynamic box (Left screen) fit into the static box)

When the auto-system is ON; then wide width, "WIDE", will make the side-channel more powerful.

When the auto-system is OFF; then wide width, "WIDE", will make the side-channel display-information smaller than normal (So you can use it as a visual guide if adjusting stereo-width manually. This way, to obtain a wide width, you should make the dynamic box (Left screen) fit into the static box)

///
If internal clipping happens, a clipping warning-light will display for a brief moment above the JELSTUDIO logo on the center of the plugin-GUI.
If this happens you can lower the input-volume going into the plugin and run it 'cooler' this way.

When the plugin's automation-system is affecting the audio, a green "WORKING" indicator-light will be lit below the JELSTUDIO logo on the center of the plugin-GUI (Just above the center-button).
When this is lit the audio is being modified by the plugin.

The plugin-version info (the revision-date in format: YYYYMMDD) is shown above the JELSTUDIO logo on the center of the plugin-GUI.

The static box, on the left-side display, is the visual guide. Optimal side-channel width is when the dynamic box loosely fits the static box in shape and size (It is not a precision-instrument, so just get it in the ball-park)
Higher and narrow (MONO-compatible side-channel) is better than lower and wider (MONO-INcompatible side-channel), which is why higher and narrower is green color and lower and wider is orange color.
A square box is maximum side-channel width that is still MONO-compatible.

///
The plugin-display is inspired by design used in aviation, to give quick and easy overview of the display-information.
